President Donald Trump has granted full pardons to reality television personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were sentenced in 2022 to lengthy prison terms for conspiring to defraud banks of more than $30 million, a White House official confirmed.
Along with the bank fraud charges, the couple was also convicted of multiple tax offenses, including efforts to cheat the Internal Revenue Service.
Trump adviser Margo Martin shared a video on X showing Trump calling Savannah Chrisley, the couple’s daughter, to notify her of the forthcoming pardons.
