Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dailycast News ("Dailycast," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Media Guild, LLC, collects, uses, and protects information when you use dailycast.news and its services, including our National News Files library, Local News Generator, Text-to-Speech tools, Audio Mixer, and Social Media Blast tools (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

1.2 Radio Station Information. During signup, we ask for your radio station's website, whether your station broadcasts over the air, online, or both, and whether your station qualifies as non-profit (religious, low-power FM, or hobby/non-profit). This helps us understand our client base and support your station appropriately.

1.3 Payment Information. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full credit card number on our servers. We retain only a Stripe-issued customer reference ID and subscription details (plan, billing period, status) needed to manage your account.

1.4 Usage Information. We collect information about your use of the Services, including text-to-speech character usage, generated news scripts, and audio files you upload to our Mixer, File Merger, and Social Media Blast tools.

1.5 Technical Information. We automatically record your IP address and timestamp when you sign up for an account and when you agree to our Terms of Use and no-refund policy. We retain this as a record of your agreement, which may be used as evidence in the event of a payment dispute or credit card chargeback.

1.6 Communications. If you contact our support team, we retain a record of that communication to assist you and improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party providers to operate the Services. Each processes information only as needed to provide their respective service to us:

These providers have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in and to remember your session. Some cookies are essential to the operation of the Services, such as your login session, and cannot be disabled without affecting your ability to use the site.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — including the signup-agreement and IP address records described in Section 1.5, which we retain as evidence in the event of a payment dispute or chargeback.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You may update your account information at any time by logging into your account. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support; cancellation terms are governed by our Terms of Use. Most of our account-related emails include an option to unsubscribe from non-essential communications — note that unsubscribing from certain emails may mean you miss important account or service notifications.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for use by radio stations and broadcast professionals and are not directed at, nor intended for use by, children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact us through our support channels.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of August 29, 2026.
