Jan 6 Bomb Suspect Arrested
Federal agents have made a breakthrough in one of the most puzzling cases from the Capitol riot, arresting a suspect they believe planted pipe bombs.
Authorities say the man was taken into custody in Virginia on Thursday morning, almost five years after the devices were discovered. The bombs were placed outside the Democratic and Republican National Committee buildings the night before the January 6 attack, and investigators have long said they were capable of causing serious harm.
