At the time of this broadcast, The Virginia Supreme Court voided Democrats’ attempt to redraw the state’s US House map in an April refer-endum. This is what the state voted on and won. It was wiped away.
The court ruled that the process of creating the refer-endum violated the state Constitution. That’s four more US house seats gone for Democrats.
Already, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee are rushing into special legislative sessions to eliminate majority-minority districts. They are moving fast. They are playing to win. Republican-led states are redrawing maps right now — maps designed to dilute your vote, to silence your community, to lock in their power before November 2026. This is the only way they can win.
