Police in England apprehended a 26-year-old man following an hours-long manhunt after the murder of three women with a crossbow.

A 2-year-old girl has died after being left in a hot car by her father in Arizona, where residents are experiencing triple-digit temperatures, authorities said.
The father was running errands with his daughter and allegedly knowingly left the 2-year-old in the car at home. He left the car running with the air conditioning on. He returned to the car 30 to 60 minutes later to find it off and the girl unresponsive. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Alexi Saenz, a high-ranking member of the MS-13 gang, pleaded guilty to racketeering charges related to eight murders in federal court in Central Islip, New York, on Wednesday.
Prosecutors said he faces 40 to 70 years in prison as part of a plea agreement. Among the victims were two Long Island teenagers, 16-year-old Kayla Cuevas and 15-year-old Nisa Mickens, who were killed in September 2016. The Coast Guard rescued five people clinging to a cooler in Lake Erie after their boat was swamped by a wave far off the Ohio coast, authorities said.
A Coast Guard spokesman said the 22-foot boat was about 10 miles off the coast of Ashtabula when it was hit. Someone called 911 for help and maintained contact with rescuers as a Coast Guard helicopter crew from the Air Station in Detroit diverted from another Lake Erie rescue to reach them.

A passenger is seeking $1.5 million in damages from JetBlue after allegedly suffering severe burns from “scalding hot” tea served during turbulence, according to a complaint.
The complaint, filed on June 24, alleges that the “dangerously hot cup of tea” was served to Tahjana Lewis while there was “ongoing turbulence” and the “fasten seat belt” sign was on. The complaint claims this decision was “dangerous and hazardous” given the conditions at the time.
