A shooter opened fire near the CDC headquarters
This happenend in Atlanta on Friday, killing DeKalb County Police Officer David Rose before taking his own life.
The suspect reportedly blamed the COVID-19 vaccine for his depression and suicidal thoughts. The CDC workers’ union condemned the attack and urged federal leaders to speak out against vaccine misinformation. The union also called for enhanced security at the CDC campus and expressed concern over the continued vilification of scientists.
