BREAKING NEWS – In response to the Israeli airstrike on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which the Palestinian Health Ministry has reported resulted in an estimated loss of hundreds of lives, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has declared three days of mourning. His office issued a statement in which he also instructed that flags be flown at half-mast to honor the victims of the “Israeli aggression on Al-Ahli hospital and all those affected by the occupation.”
The hospital had been providing refuge to thousands of displaced individuals, as stated by the ministry. Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Daniel Hagari has indicated that the IDF is currently investigating the reported strike.
