Russian missiles hammered Ukrainian cities overnight
Russia fired a large volley of ballistic missiles that knocked out heat for tens of thousands of people during a deep winter cold snap. Ukrainian officials reported damage to homes, businesses and a kindergarten in Kyiv and other cities. Emergency crews worked through the night to restore power and heating and search damaged buildings.
