Israeli airstrikes targeted Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza
The strike killed at least 20 people, including five Palestinian journalists.
The strikes followed a pattern of escalating violence in the region, with reports of a double-tap attack on the hospital. The journalists were identified as Hussam al-Masri, Mohammad Salama, Mariam Abu Daqqa, Moaz Abu Taha, and Ahmad Abu Aziz. The attack came a day after 64 Palestinians were killed in northern Gaza, primarily in Gaza City.
