On Saturday, during his first significant campaign swing to South Carolina and New Hampshire, Trump once more claimed responsibility for supporting DeSantis’ ascent during his 2018 run for governor, asserting that “Ron would not be governor if it weren’t for me.”
Therefore, Trump stated, “When I hear he could run, I consider it extremely disloyal.”
Taking a shot at DeSantis, Trump informed reporters on board his jet that Nikki Haley, who served as his ambassador to the UN, had recently phoned to let him know that she is thinking about running for president in 2024.
