Top of the hour relay newscasts are coming. Dailycast Syndicated News will be providing news at top of the hour anytime you need it.
How it works Clients can schedule their news throughout the day with the all-new ‘Dailycast News Relays’. Latest news headlines at the top of the hour. Schedule it once, and it’s set forever. No more daily file uploads.
Most radio streaming providers offer the relay feature in their AutoDJ mode. You can see how to set it up if you have a service like Radio.co by reading their instructions here . You can check with your stream host provider if they offer ‘schedule a relay’ feature. For Live365, you can get details of setting up a relay here. Scheduling a relay details are here.
Newscast files will be auto-updated at least 4x a day (like it currently is) and auto updated daily. Each hour, the newscasts will rotate throughout the day and begin at the top of the hour, every hour. If you have your relay scheduled for example 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, our newscast will automatically start at those times because the stream runs the newscasts exactly at the top of each hour.
This has not been implemented yet. We need to get feedback from current news clients. We will be sending out a survey to see how many clients would be interested in changing their plan to this service (at same rate). A separate feedback form will be sent out.
